A crisp, cold Sunday morning could do nothing to chill the spirits of the Bradford Boars as they returned to Division 3, ready to stake their claim! They kicked off their campaign against Ben Rhydding 2nds with palpable energy, dominating periods of the opening game.

Despite Ben Rhydding sneaking into an early lead, the Boars refused to yield. The pressure built, and with the absolute final touch of the game, the magnificent Austen stepped up to deliver a heart-stopping penalty corner set piece, finding the bottom corner for a thrilling equaliser! It was a moment of pure clutch performance that sent spirits soaring!

While subsequent games didn't deliver the goals they desired, the Boars proved they are truly a team that improves with every minute on the pitch. Many of the team also stepped in to help Ben Rhydding who were a player down, showing their true Hockey community spirt.

Like a fine wine, the squad aged wonderfully throughout the tournament, growing stronger, faster, and fiercer with every pushback. In their brilliant final match against Adel, the defense was an absolute fortress! Showing incredible heart, the Boars fought for every single ball and demonstrated that Bradford are NEVER Bored with defending in numbers!

This tournament was an invaluable learning curve for the entire team, solidifying their status and proving they belong. What a positive, exhilarating way to end the year and lay the foundation for a dominant run in Division 3 next season!
