Bradford ladies visited Park Lane Academy for a very friendly away fixture this week. Halifax took the lead in the first half which may have been expected with Bradford playing with one player short. But for the great efforts of the Bradford midfield and defence it could have been more. A fantastic stick save by the goalie Kelly on the line is definitely worth a mention on her first game back after a long break.

Bradford didn't give up the fight. Darcy fed the ball across the D after a strong advance up the right wing. The ball was expertly tapped in the net by Erin, perfectly positioned on the left post. A well deserved equaliser from a determined team giving a score of 1-1 at half time.
Halifax continued to put the pressure on which proved too much for a tiring team. They were rewarded with an excellenty executed goal taking them once again into the lead.

Bradford were given an opportunity to equalise when awarded with a short corner in the last 5 minutes of the game. Another great strike in from Darcy just wasn't meant to be leaving the final score 2-1 to Halifax.
