Bradford made the long trip to Driffield with a bare eleven, arriving for a late-morning pushback in increasingly gloomy conditions. The game began under a light drizzle, and it was the hosts who struck first, finishing off a sharp counter-attack to take an early lead. Bradford responded well, their pressure paid off when Ben Barber found the equaliser sending the sides into half time level at 1–1.

The second half saw Bradford seize control under the wetter conditions. A neatly worked short corner routine appeared to have given Nick the go-ahead goal, only for it to be ruled out. Undeterred, Bradford kept pressing, and Nick finally broke through with a clean, straight strike to put the visitors ahead.

With momentum firmly on their side, Bradford pushed on, and Ben Barber’s second of the match sealed a deserved 3–1 victory. The win lifts Bradford into second place, just two points behind league leaders Ben Rhydding.

Next up is Leeds 5s away where Bradford will be looking to take top spot heading into the Christmas break.
