Bradford Hockey Club is an England Hockey, ClubMark accredited club, based in the heart of Bradford. Established in 1894, we have been passionate about Fun and Inclusive Hockey ever since.

Our Purpose

At Bradford Hockey Club, our purpose is simple: to ignite and sustain a love for hockey in our community!

We're on a mission to bring the sport to life for children, young people, and adults, guiding them from their very first session to becoming skilled players. Beyond the pitch, we actively cultivate the future of the game by empowering leaders, inspiring coaches, training umpires, and supporting dedicated administrators and volunteers. Whether you're looking to play for fun, grow your skills, or compete at a high level, we have a place for you.

Above all, the well-being of our members is paramount. We provide a safe, nurturing, and truly child-friendly environment where everyone can learn and enjoy hockey. And we're proud to call Bradford Girls Grammar School (BGGS) our home, a dedicated facility where our hockey dreams come to life.

Our Teams

We currently have three Senior teams and four Junior (Bradford Boars) Teams

Ladies 1st XI - Compete in YNE Dales Women's Division 1
Mens 1st XI - Compete in YNE Moor & Dale Men's Division 1
Mens 2nd XI - Compete in YNE Moor & Dale Men's Division 2
Junior Development Team - Compete in the Yorkshire North Development Series.
U8 - (up to Y3) Compete in regional Tournaments and friendlies.
U10 - (Y4 and Y5) Compete in the U10 Yorkshire Youth Tournament series.
U12 - (Y6 and Y7) Compete in the U12 Yorkshire Youth Tournament series.

Our Membership Packages

Hockey is our passion and we want to ensure Bradford HC offers our members the best value hockey in West Yorkshire. As well as the inclusive environment and great coaching, one way we achieve this is through our extended training periods and great value membership fees, which for 2024/25 are as follows:

We also offer a Family discount for annual memberships which the membership officer can inform you about.

Whether you are an established player or a complete beginner you will be welcome at Bradford Hockey Club. Please come down to one of our training sessions. Your first 6 sessions are always free.
